NFT

The 1:1 NFTs that I make are art that is purchased with cryptocurrency on a blockchain. I make and mint art for several blockchains: Eth and Tezos. Right now I’m primarily working in AI (machine learning) art currently, I have a strong base in classical art training. I also use digital 3-D techniques with mixed media. I see great potential for the metaverse, so I also display my artwork in metaverse galleries; those that I create myself as well as those that invite me to exhibit.

September 2024: SUBJECTIVE Art Festival, NYC

My multimedia piece “Make Way for the Bliss” is curated in to a three-day art festival in Lume Studios, an experiential studio space in TriBeCa. I had the poem published in an anthology in 1999, and now that AI tools are readily available, I’ve turned my poem into a storytelling experience by narrating it myself, and adding AI music, images, and animation. Open captions are burned in, and I’ve minted this as an edition of 10 NFTs on the Tezos blockchain.

Story Inscription

These NFTs are special because they are minted on a Transient Labs contract with a feature called “story inscription” enabled. If the NFT is in an exhibition, the artist or the owner can inscribe that information into the metadata of the NFT. If a collector would like to leave a note to the blockchain about why they collected, story inscriptions will allow this, too. There is a transaction fee to inscribe a story to the NFT.

Light Beings Available on Objkt

Born of work I did to submit to about three different calls to art in late 2023, I’ve created this collection called Light Beings. They are available to mint on the Tezos blockchain.

Neal Gallery Curated Works

Patchwork Splendor

Patchwork Splendor was curated into a group exhibition called “Red” by TheHug.xyz, and Neal Digital Gallery, for display in The Joy City, Beijing, China. It was selected from a pool of approximately 600 submissions for 40 exhibition spots.

I crafted this digital artwork especially for the call to art: “In China, red is an auspicious color that is associated with celebration, luck, and prosperity. All artworks should use this color as the primary color palette for consideration in this Open Call.”

Surreal Continuum

I created this series in response to a call to art about surrealism inspired by Dali. I chose to envision the 2014 documentary, “Dali’s Greatest Secret” which tells the story of his painting ‘The Vision of Hell.’ Three schoolgirls were witness to a vision from Mary wherein they were shown what hell is like, and they were instructed to go and tell their families, who then tried to silence the girls. Dali was commissioned by a Catholic group to paint those girls’ vision of hell. Dali had remarked that he would use escargot forks in his painting because a sinner’s soul curls up in the shell like the snail, so the soul can only be retracted with an escargot fork. He finished over a year too late, and since the need for it had disappeared, the painting was hidden under a nun’s bed for about three decades. See this collection at MakersPlace.

Hear Me Roar

My signature of the Sign of the Smile comes from this collection of woodblock-inspired AI artwork. The Home Page has links to my artworks for sale on different web3 platforms. Hear Me Roar is available on OBJKT, on the Tezos blockchain.

The whole collection called “Hear Me Roar”. I intended to convey illustrations of women and their spirit animal guardians.

Retrocausality Work

‘Retrocausality Work’ is my set of four images intended for a dynamic NFT wherein the images change daily. I plan to use a time-based template that Transient is still finishing. The concept behind my dynamic work is that it will be a conversation starter for any professional in the healing arts. If displayed in a dedicated monitor, the image will update daily, telling its narrative throughout the week, which will allow natural dialog between different clients and practitioner. Methods: Acrylic Painting, 3-D scene building, pattern design in Illustrator, AI techniques, post-processing in Photoshop.

Dance Stills: the Art of Dance

I made an A.I. collection all about contemporary dance in Jan. 2023. I performed ballet and modern dance when I was younger; I have had about 15 years of dance lessons. I find it very intriguing to see how Midjourney/A.I. can display motion blur in an appropriate or an exaggerated manner. I love the simulation of motion it creates by adding ghosted or long exposure legs and arms, or stretching the ears. I found I liked the contemporary dance images much better than the classical ballet images I tried to prompt.

It’s exciting to see my own work on display in different venues. I created this NFT in response to a call to art with a theme of the Caribbean in 2100. So I wondered, despite climate change issues, won’t the Caribbean people continue the Carnivale tradition? What might Carnivale look like in the future? Mint Beyond the Blue on Foundation

POAP: Proof of Attendance Protocol

I began my journey into NFTs in 2021 by learning how to create a POAP, which is an attendance token; like bookmarks for your life. I created these two POAPs for the artists who minted their work during our collective’s first and second group drop. If claimed, they show up in the POAP app on your device. See poap . xyz to learn more.

I can create a beautiful POAP for your event. Although they look tiny, I’ll probably end up designing for two to three hours. Flat fee of $100 for a static design with up to 3 hours of design time. Email yolantis@yolantisart.com.

For the Neural Nomads design, I conceptualized using Midjourney, chose my look and feel from a large set of drafts I created, then used Illustrator to make vector art, which is re-colorable and re-scalable.
